Snowboarding Fundamentals Video
Stance- A neutral stance is encouraged and you will feel the pivot points below your feet when your in this position. It feels very natural when you are not rolling or moving. Toe/Heel- The pipe roller has a limited roll and full tilt so you will see direct correlation and the benefit to developing toe-heel strength and control. Rotation- The Pipe-Lock keeps it all together so you can rotate upper and lower body and do 360's or other spin moves on both front and tail. Foot to Foot- You can pivot on either end of the board and shifting weight from foot to foot is fun and feels like a waddle walk. Flexion/Extension- Bending your knees while riding the Holoholo board builds stamina and good shock absorbing ability.
Skiers you can ride with your feet parallel and really work at controlling the edges by tilting feet together while balancing. Stabilizing and power muscles go to work when you squat or bend your knees even just a little. It only takes few minutes a day of fun playful balancing to make your skiing better. Ride like a skier and simply get into a tuck position- You will feel all the little balancing muscles and your power muscles get going. SNOWBOARD & SKI WORKOUTDevelop the strength and flexibility needed in your lower legs and ankles to be more comfortable and capable on the mountain.
